QuikTrip in Wichita (324 S West St)

I visited the QT at Maple and West around 4 this afternoon (9-2). I was perusing the new flavored tea dispenser and apparently looked as befuddled as l actually was because the young man on shift that was busy tending to the floors cleanliness stopped and politely offered his help. Had he not assisted me l would have settled for a flavor other than what l was after, which much to my surprise was actually dispensed from the next machine. I'm sure there is a more professional name for it so please forgive me as l don't get out much...lol At any rate l made my selection and proceeded to gather a few snack items at which point l asked him where the condiment packets were and was was once again politely assisted. He told me that the drink was on him since he had recommended a mix of flavors which turned out to be rather satisfactory. He then followed me to the register and proceeded to comp my entire purchase. (Don't fret, as it was far from the future revenue he earned the company by reclaiming me as a customer. I had informed him that l hadn't been in a QT in over a year, which is true even though l pass no less than two stores every time l leave the house. I don't normally take the time (you'd be shocked..) to draw attention to a young person's actions these days, especially when it relates to the work place, but l feel that just relaying such to him in person may make him feel better about himself temporarily, but l hope this will in some way help him to attain whatever goals he sets for himself and his future, whether it be with QT or wherever. Thank you for your time and l sincerely hope this has not been a waste of mine. Unfortunately l didn't get his name, but he is young with dark hair and somewhat handsome,as l teasingly mentioned to the young lady at the register...lol I trust that some form of recognition will be forwarded to at minimum his supervisor, as he should be regarded as a valuable asset to your team! Again thanks for your time. Mark Orth, just your regular Joe....
