Dodgers' former owner Walter O'Malley wanted to build a new stadium for the Dodgers after they moved from Brooklyn, New York. He chose Chavez Ravine, displacing over 1,000 residents. Overall, 16K parking spaces are available near the stadium at varying hourly/event rates and amenities. The 56K seats at Dodger Stadium are divided into various levels and ticket prices. Accessible seating is available on all levels. Field-level seats are closest to the action and usually the most expensive too. Loge level in the middle and Reserve level seats on the upper deck are cheaper but still offer good field views. The top deck seats are the highest and cheapest option, but it isn't the greatest view. Premium seating at Dodger Stadium includes:

• Bank of America Suite: Offers a private space for group bookings with spacious interiors and outdoor seating on a deck overlooking the field.

Best Home Team Seats at Dodger Stadium

There are no bad seats at Dodger Stadium but look out for the foul pole and the hot sun in your eyes. For example, if you are on seat No. 14 in Row A, Section 48, on the Field level, and turn towards the home plate, you'll see the foul pole blocking your view. The right field line is directly in the sunlight during day games.

For Dodgers fans, Dugout Club seats behind the home dugout are an excellent option for the VIP experience. Additionally, the Field Level MVP (Sections 1-25) are directly behind home plate and offer the best views of the game. But they are also the most expensive seats in the stadium. Infield Box (Sections 27-39) and Loge MVP (Sections 101-136) are less expensive than Field Level MVP seats but still offer good value. Baseline Club (Sections 26-43, first six rows; Sections 41-45, first three rows) have good views and access to a private club.

Dodger Stadium Gates

Dodger Stadium has several entrance gates to the seating area and parking lots. On game day, My Dodgers Members can enter the stadium via the Left Centerfield Pavilion three hours before the starting time. However, early entry is not available for games beginning before 1:30 p.m.

The stadium gates usually open two hours before the first pitch for general admission. Dodger Stadium parking lot gates open half an hour earlier than the entrance gate opening time. Rules and regulations for events other than Dodgers home games can vary.

• The members-only Stadium Club is at the end of the right field line on the suites level concourse. You can access the club if your ticket says, 'Admit 1 to Stadium Club.'
• There are over 100 concession stands at Dodger Stadium, offering various food and beverage options.
• The stadium is a cashless facility; five cash-to-card kiosks are available onsite.
• The stadium has nine elevators - three behind home plate, two each on either end of the concourses, one in Center Field, and 1 for Dugout Club.
• Escalators are available near the entry gates on both sides of the stadium. There are two sets of escalators behind the home plate.
• Restrooms are along the concourse; family/gender-neutral facilities are also available.
• Dodger Stadium parking is available onsite. You can buy general and preferred parking spots online in advance or at the gate.
• Dodger Stadium parking lots B, D, G, I, L, N, and P have ADA/Accessible spaces available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Shuttles are available from these lots to the stadium entrances.
• Oversized vehicle parking is in Lot 12; enter via Sunset Gate A on Vin Scully Avenue.
• Re-entry is not permitted once you scan the ticket and enter the stadium.
• Tailgating is prohibited on Dodger Stadium premises.

Dodger Stadium Tips for Visitors

• Season ticket holders can make Speakeasy reservations at the private members-only Tommy's Bar. Log into the MLB Ballpark app and go to the Dodger Rewards Portal.
• You can book Dodgers single-game tickets online via the MLB app. You'll need the app to enter the stadium on game day; pull up the ticket barcode for scanning.
• For groups, you can scan multiple tickets from the same device or forward the tickets to multiple devices via the MLB Ballpark app.
• Children three and under do not need a ticket to enter Dodger Stadium, provided they sit on your lap.
• ADA/Accessible seating is available at all levels. When booking your tickets, click the 'ADA Tickets' link to reserve.
• Parking Lots 13 and 14 (a 10 15-minute walk from the stadium) offer $5 spots on a first-come, first-serve basis. You'll also find other off-stadium lots nearby offering great game-day deals when you pre-book spots online.
• Bike racks are available in Parking Lots N, B, D, and P.
• Uber drop-offs are allowed at any of the stadium's auto gates; other rideshare services can use Lot 11 (Sunset Gate A).
