How do I fix the P0121 code?

If you’re familiar with automotive know-how, fixing a P0121 code won’t be much of a challenge. To fix it, you can start by visually examining the wiring/TPS system.

• Several DTCs appear alongside a P0121, like the P0120, P0122, and P0124. Understanding and diagnosing these codes will help you get a better idea of the main problem. 
• To understand the specific problem, it’s better to examine the TPS system visually. Check the throttle position sensor and its connections for damage. 
• If the wires are frayed, fix or replace them. Also, check the TPS connector pins for consistency. 
• Use a throttle body cleaner and a rag to clean the carbon buildup on the throttle body. Recalibrate if needed. 
• If the issue isn’t resolved even after all these steps, the problem might be an open or short circuit.
