What causes the VSA light to turn on?  

Different reasons can turn on the VSA light in your car. Low tire pressure, a faulty ABS unit, or a damaged steering angle sensor can all be the cause. While it’s perfectly okay to drive with the VSA light turned on, it’s better to get it fixed soon. For that, you need to know more about what is causing it.  

Major reasons for the illumination of the VSA light include;  
 
VSA button in the Off Position: The VSA button on your dashboard is susceptible to accidental touches, which can turn it off. To fix this, turn on the VSA button.  
 
Low Tire Pressure: Low tire pressure can cause stability issues and cause the VSA light to turn on. Filling the air pressure in the tires to the manufacturer-recommended levels can resolve this issue.  
 
Faulty ABS Module: Failure of any of the ABS components can cause the VSA light to turn on. You can fix this by replacing the damaged ABS component.  
 
Tire Issues: Having the wrong set of tires can cause traction issues in your car. This can cause the VSA light to turn on. Make sure to have the manufacturer-specified tires on your car to avoid this.  
 
Steering Angle Sensor Damage: The steering angle sensor collects and transmits data such as its rate of turn, wheel angle, and other steering inputs that affect the stability of a vehicle. The VSA light on your car will illuminate if this sensor is faulty.
