What is oil life percentage? 

Oil life percentage is a measure of the quality and life of oil left in the engine. The value ranges from 100% to 0%, estimating the time for which the engine oil could keep your engine running without any performance issues.

A 100% value represents freshly replaced oil, and this value will start to reduce once you start driving. Change your car’s oil immediately if the oil life drops to 0%. What does oil life percentage mean? 

Oil life percentage does not indicate the quantity of oil remaining in the engine, nor does it indicate the quality and chemical properties of the oil. Some of the common factors affecting oil life are:
