DJ and his team at Take-5 in Arcadia (FL) saved my road trip, which was almost ruined by a previous local shop that I took my car to. That previous shop lied to me about installing a new oil filter and they stole my 5 quarts of oil that I showed up with, stole my money for the oil change labor, never changed the oil. When I returned to that shop about my oil still being black, they lied some more and said that my old filter was stuck and could not be removed, etc, and did nothing to resolve the problem. But they did tell me to try Take-5...I did not know there was a new Take-5 shop in my small town. The time that I arrived at the Take-5 shop, it was already late, right before closing, and a line of vehicles. I explained to DJ how I got ripped off by another shop in town and that me and my daughter had a long road trip early in the morning. DJ told me not to worry, to just get in line and they will take care of us. After patiently waiting, it was well beyond closing time, but DJ and his team took their time with our situation. He informed us that he had no problem removing the old filter, and that it was apparent that fresh oil had not been added. DJ upgraded me to full synthetic oil and filled up the washing fluid because of the love-bugs, and all at an amazing discount too! A manager arrived at the shop and hi-fived DJ for saving our road-trip plans that were sabotaged by the other local shop in town. So, if you are in Arcadia, Florida... CHOOSE WISELY!
Husband and I came to get an oil change in his truck, he decided to get his tires rotated, oil change went smooth(like always) his tire rotation was another story(at no fault of the guys, his lug nuts are always a pain) DJ and David were awesome making sure to explain everything to us and took their time trying to get all the tires off (the got 3 out of 4 off) highly recommend them
Got great service from DJ and Ahmet! Will be coming back for sure. They welcomed me, offered me water, asked if they could check everything and let me know what things would need service in the future which was great and gave me a raffel ticket on top! Top notch service in my book!
