I had such an incredible experience at Take 5 Oil Change in Hattiesburg that I had to come leave a Google review so other people would know how fantastic they are. I’m the owner of Sugar Daddy’s Bakery in downtown Hattiesburg, so I really appreciate great customer service when I see it. I normally drive an electric Mustang—the newest model loaded with bells and whistles—so I never have to think about oil changes or any fluids other than windshield wiper fluid. This time, I brought my son’s car (he’s the doctor in the family), and I’ll admit I had no idea what I was doing. From the moment I pulled in, the team at Take 5 was quick, efficient, and incredibly courteous. They didn’t make me feel embarrassed for not knowing the process; instead, they calmly walked me through everything, explained what they were doing, and made it all feel simple and stress-free. Their professionalism and friendliness stood out immediately, and I never felt pressured or talked down to at any point. The actual service was impressively fast, but never rushed. They checked what needed to be checked, made sure my son’s car was properly taken care of, and handled all the details for me so I could just sit back and relax. For someone who “never does this” because of an electric vehicle, it was such a relief to be in the hands of people who clearly know their jobs and care about their customers. One of my favorite touches is the sign as you drive out that says “Honk for great service.” I happily laid down on my horn on the way out because they absolutely earned it. But I also wanted to go a step further and leave this review so more people will see just how outstanding their customer service is. If you’re in Hattiesburg and need an oil change—especially if you’re not super comfortable with car maintenance—do yourself a favor and go to Take 5 Oil Change. They make the whole experience easy, welcoming, and efficient, and they truly deserve every honk and every five-star review they get.

I have in the past changed my own oil/oil filter but since returning from living abroad in Europe things like my time/family/work don’t also allow me to, I have been getting my oil/oil filter change done at Take 5 Oil Change. Every time they have been courteous, thorough, and made it an enjoyable experience! I highly recommend them for your auto service needs!!! Thanks to Stephen and the crew for another service experience! For those that’s military affiliated they offer a military discount also.
