I was on my way to work one day when my engine overheated and left me stranded in Bucktown with no options. I figured it was an engine coolant leak seeing as it had happened before and I was asking people parked around me to see if anyone had some coolant in their car so I could hopefully make it to a nearby shop to take a look at it. Thankfully someone told me that Perfect Auto Maintenance was down the block. I asked Juan, I believe it was, if he could sell me any engine coolant from his shop to help me out and he gave me a gallon of what I needed that he had laying around! I was able to use that to diagnose my car and the next day I headed to his shop to get a actual diagnosis. He helped me out over the course of the next few hours knowing I was stranded even though he had no space in his shop and my car was halfway out the bay door. He got me back on the road and was super generous with his pricing! I would 100% recommend picking this shop. It's hard to find mechanics that aren't ripping you off or trying to pull a fast one on you. Juan was super nice, helped me out for a generous price, and was a pleasure! So glad I ended up stranded nearest to Perfect Auto Maintenance

I was visiting from Milwaukee when I got caught in the huge thunderstorm on Friday afternoon (7/3). After driving through a deep puddle, the undercarriage cover on my Honda Fit came loose and started dragging on the road. I was worried I'd be stuck with the problem all holiday weekend. I called, and they told me to bring it right in. Even though it was around 4 PM on a Friday before the Fourth of July, they squeezed me in at the end of their day. Less than 30 minutes after realizing there was a problem, I was back on the road with everything fixed. What was a quick repair for them saved me a lot of stress and likely hours of trying to figure it out myself.
