Terminal A is one of four passenger terminals at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and serves as the primary hub for Delta Air Lines’ Boston operations. It consists of a main terminal building and a satellite concourse connected by an underground pedestrian walkway, and it handles a large share of Logan’s domestic departures.

Boston Logan Airport Terminal A is Delta Air Lines’ primary operating terminal at BOS and also serves WestJet, along with several Delta codeshare and joint-venture partners. Located on the eastern side of the airport, Terminal A features 21 gates split between the main terminal (Gates A1–A11) and the satellite concourse (Gates A13–A22), which are connected via an underground walkway.

Currently, the Terminal A–B Connector project is underway, and once completed will allow passengers to move post-security between Terminals A and B without re-clearing screening.

Boston Logan Airport Terminal A is Delta Air Lines’ primary hub at BOS and also serves WestJet. In addition, the terminal supports several SkyTeam and Delta joint-venture partner carriers operating codeshare or connecting services.

Terminal A at BOS is spread across a main terminal and a satellite concourse, connected by an underground pedestrian tunnel. Departures are on the upper level, and arrivals/baggage claim is on the lower level.

A pedestrian bridge on Level 4 connects Terminal A directly to the Central Parking Garage, and a walkway links Terminal A to Terminal B pre-security.

Terminal A has two Delta Sky Club locations: one near gates A6 and another near A18. They are open from Sunday to Friday: 4:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday: 4:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Delta Sky Club Lounge can be accessed by Delta Sky Club members, SkyTeam Elite Plus, Delta Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallion members. Passengers flying in Delta One or a SkyTeam Premium cabin, and holders of the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card, Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business American Express Card, The Platinum Card from American Express, The Business Platinum Card from American Express, or Centurion Card from American Express, as well as Virgin Australia/Velocity VIP Platinum or Gold card members, and Virgin Australia business class passengers, can also access the lounge.

To access the lounge in Terminal A, you must present a same-day boarding pass for a flight marketed or operated by Delta Air Lines or a partner airline.

Onsite garages and offsite parking lots provide multiple parking options near BOS Terminal A. Since Terminal A handles a high volume of domestic flights, parking lots can fill up quickly during holidays. So, it’s important to book your parking spot before the lots fill up.

Drivers can easily follow clear signage for Terminal A along the airport’s main inbound loop road. For public transit, travelers can access Terminal A via the MBTA Blue Line (by connecting with a free Massport shuttle at Airport Station) or the MBTA Silver Line SL1, which runs free from the airport to South Station in downtown Boston. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft also pick up and drop off passengers at designated areas outside Terminal A.

Passengers moving between terminals can use the pre-security walkway connecting Terminal A to Terminal B. To get to Terminal E, passengers should check current shuttle schedules, since the two terminals are linked by shuttle service rather than a direct walkway.
