LAX Terminal 1 restaurants offers a variety of dining options, featuring sit-down meals, fast food chains, and local favourites. Although not as awesome as TBIT, LAX Terminal 1 still has quite a bit to offer hungry travelers. Here are the best LAX Terminal 1 restaurants to help you figure out where you want to eat and drink.  

A word to the wise – There is no direct connection between Terminal 1 and any other terminals. Shuttles run from the airport, or you can walk. So keep that in mind if you’re planning to nip out to one of the other terminals to eat or drink.

Terminal 1 at Southwest Airlines’ hub in Dallas, Texas, has recently undergone a lot of changes that has resulted in the addition of several new dining options, including a new 7-Eleven and Urth Caffe & Bar. But, of course, there’s more, so let’s check all the restaurants and cafes in LAX Terminal 1.

Ace Cerveceria & Tacos

Near Gate 12A, Level 3, Terminal 1

From their LAX Terminal 1 outlet, Ace Cerveceria & Tacos serves up authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine. Here you can indulge in freshly cooked Mexican food. This includes a wide variety of foods such as tacos, nachos, carne asada fries, chips and guacamole, and more.

Betcha Burger

Remember the classic roadside burger stalls that used to dot the landscape of Southern California? Well, they served as an inspiration for the creation of the Betcha Burger. California Pizza Kitchen – Restaurant & Bar

This popular restaurant business is renowned for its crispy flatbread pizzas. California Pizza Kitchen is the perfect choice for a pre-flight meal if you are searching for something familiar, have a yearning for BBQ chicken pizza, want a flashback to a high school date place, or all of the above. Panda Express is the quickest option for assuaging an appetite for Chinese food from an LAX Terminal 1 restaurant. There is also a full-fledged bar, which features a wide variety of beers on tap (with options for sampling flights) and an amazing whiskey collection.

Rock & Brews Concert Bar and Grill- Restaurant & Bar

Rock & Brews offers American comfort cuisine with a full bar and a rock-and-roll atmosphere at one of its two sites in Los Angeles International Airport (the other location is in Terminal 5). Additionally, Rock & Brews provides a “Grab and Go” service for warm and cold food items and coffee service.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf- Coffee Shop/Snacks to go

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a Los Angeles institution that serves as a virtual oasis for people who need a caffeine boost. This cafe has the look and feel of a traditional American coffeehouse and offers a wide variety of local and global brews, mouthwatering pastries, and baked goods. The Macchiato and the Vanilla Iced Latte are two drinks you just have to taste.

Urth Caffe & Bar- Coffee Shop and Bar

Near Gate 11A, Level 3

This café in Southern California is well-known for selling organic coffee and tea. They also provide farm-to-table snacks. They were the first firm in the country to sell only organic and heirloom coffee. If you live in this region and enjoy drinking quality coffee, there is no doubt you’ll be pleased to learn that there’s an Urth Caffe within the airport. They provide a variety of distinctive roasts and mixes. Also, there’s even a roast dubbed the Traveler Bend that’s only available at LAX!

If you’d like to grab a bite to eat at an LAX Terminal 1 restaurant before your flight, make sure to book your LAX parking spot ahead. That way, you won’t’ waste time searching for a place to park.
