LAX Airport parking is something not easy to find at the last minute. The airport is 18 miles from downtown Los Angeles and is the country’s second busiest airport. Each year, more than 75 million passengers pass through LAX Airport. Yet, there’s no need to panic, because our handy guide will help you quickly find the best LAX parking spots!

Onsite LAX Airport Parking

As you would expect, early birds get the best parking spots for long-term and short-term parking at LAX. But, unfortunately, you snooze, and you’ll lose when finding a safe and cheap Los Angeles Airport parking spot! Let’s start with the facts so you can determine which LAX Airport parking garage or lot is best for you:
  • Central Terminal Area parking, or CT parking, comprises around 7,000 parking spots across eight parking structures opposite the passenger terminals’ roadways. Spots for LAX long-term parking, short-term parking, and overnight parking are also available here.
  • * The Central Terminal Area parking lot offers free parking for the first 15 minutes. LAX Terminal parking charges $9 for the first hour or fraction, $7 for every 30 minutes after the first hour, and a daily maximum of $60.

  • LAX Budget Parking charges you $5 every hour up to a maximum of $20 per day.
  • Short-term parking is available only at the CTA parking garages.
  • The CTA parking garages allow you to park for up to 30 days.
  • There is no monthly parking at LAX Airport.
  • Large trucks, trailers, RVs, and campers cannot park at the onsite lots. The maximum vehicle height allowed is 8 ft, 2 inches.

Offsite LAX Airport Parking

You don’t have to be apprehensive about the high costs of LAX parking lots or the fact that you can’t reserve a space in advance. If you know where to look (hint: Way.com), there are plenty of less expensive and more dependable options nearby. Although many websites allow you to search for low-cost and convenient LAX Airport long-term parking at well-maintained and secure offsite lots, Way.com is your best choice. For example, the Way.com parking app/website allows you to choose and book Los Angeles Airport parking in less than a few minutes. That too at a fraction of the onsite price with offers and discounted rates. You won’t have to clear your pockets to pay exorbitant LAX Airport parking fees this way! Many of these offsite Los Angeles Airport parking lots are operated by airport hotels near LAX. So even if you don’t book a room, you can park in their garages. They also provide free shuttle services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This makes it easy to catch those late-night or early-morning flights! Furthermore, some offsite LAX Airport parking lots have additional car care facilities such as car wash and detailing to keep your car looking shinier than when you parked it!
