If you are under 30 and are renting a deluxe car, a security deposit of $750 may be required. The minimum age limit to rent a deluxe car is 25. The deposit amount is $750 for super deluxe cars as well. However, the age limit is 30. Turo’s automated system assesses each reservation for potential risk, considering factors like your driving history, booking history, and the vehicle, and may require a $200 security deposit if deemed necessary.

If you are over 30 years old and not renting a Deluxe or Super Deluxe Class vehicle, Turo’s security system may determine that a deposit is unnecessary. Also, you can claim a $250 discount on providing your personal auto insurance information during the booking process. It eliminates the need to pay any deposit. Please, keep in mind that Turo do not provides the provision to add the information later.
