How to fix the P0302 code? 

P0302 code means 'Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected.' This engine code can show up on your car for a variety of reasons, including a problem with the spark plug, ignition coil, fuel injector, or internal engine mechanical issues. Here’s what you can do to fix this code:

Step 1- Examine the components of the ignition system: The leading cause of this code is mostly the failure of ignition system components. Begin by inspecting the engine’s number 2 spark plug for any damage or an incorrect gap. Next, inspect the spark plug wire corresponding to cylinder #2 for damage or chafing. 

Step 2- Verify the Spark: An inline spark tester can verify the spark on the problematic engine’s #2 cylinder. 

Step 3- Verify Fuel Injector Function: Fuel rail pressures can be measured when each engine’s injector is activated using a scan tool with the ignition turned on. If injector #2 actuation does not result in a drop in fuel pressure, perform additional fuel injector diagnostics to eliminate potential underlying electrical faults. 

Step 4- Look for any further error codes: If the above tests don’t resolve the issue, check for other DTCs and resolve them. 

Step 5- Conduct a Compression Test: If your car’s P0302 fault code persists, each engine’s cylinders should be checked for compression.

For that you need to get the code diagnosed and this diagnosis costs somewhere between $75 and $150, depending on the shop’s labor rate. Additionally, the simpler issues like faulty spark plug or ignition coil can cost up to $200, the more serious causes like a blown head gasket can cost thousands of dollars.
