In-person  

Georgia DDS allows you to replace a lost driver’s license in person. This can be done through the nearest customer service centers. The process will include submitting the necessary Category A and Category B documents. Consequently, you can make the payment and wait for the new license.

If you are a resident of the state, then you can apply for a driver’s license replacement online. However, you cannot renew a commercial driver’s license online. Similarly, you cannot replace a canceled, revoked, or suspended license.

In Georgia, replacing a lost license costs $10, provided you have at least 150 days remaining before it expires. However, if your driver’s license expires in less than 150 days, you need to renew it and pay the renewal fee of $32.
