After an atrocious experience with the AAMCO in St. Matthews, I was referred here from the St. Matthews AutoZone. I'm so relieved that Meineke was able to fix the issue with my transmission. They also caught another impending situation with my rear differential (again, caused by AAMCO) and IMO went above and beyond. Dan was not put out that I mistakenly arrived after they'd closed and willingly helped me. Dylan was equally obliging and I know that their caring and professional demeanor has earned them a lifelong customer. (Also, do not go to St. Matthews AAMCO)
Very easy to schedule appointment, although very busy place, and service did not start for several hours after appt time. That said, they correctly diagnosed the problem, despite me pointing them in the wrong direction (thought exhaust, it was wheel bearing/suspension). Repairs completed same day (8 hours). Cost seemed a bit high, but it was a lot of labor, required expertise, and parts. Probably fair (and cheaper than new car!).
The guys here at meineke were absolutely amazing. I brought my car in randomly, without an appointment, because it had started overheating while i was driving through st matthews today. They not only got my car in instantly, but also fixed the belts and replaced the water pump all in ONE day, updating me throughout the entire process. I barely know anything about cars, and they were very detailed in helping me understand what was going on all the way down to what they were doing on my car. The customer service was honestly the best i’ve ever had at any car shop in my experience. They were nice and very thorough with everything they did. I will definitely be returning to this location if anything is ever needed for my car. Needing work done on your car is stressful but these guys made it as smooth and simple as possible, so thankful for the work they did and their exceptional customer service!
