About SFO Terminal 3
SFO Terminal 3, formerly called the North Terminal, is one of the three domestic terminals at SFO Airport. It comprises Boarding Area E (with gates E1-E13) and Boarding Area F (with gates F1 to F22). The construction of the terminal began in April 1971. During the day, a solar roof (installed in 2007) powers all Terminal 3 lights.
