About LAX Airport

Los Angeles International Airport (also called LAX) is the second busiest airport in the United States, after Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), and the fourth busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic. Spread on 3,500 acres to the southwest of the city, this enormous travel hub handles over 85 million passengers every year and is only expected to get busier. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has nearly doubled its passenger volume in the past decade, yet its sophisticated infrastructure has kept up with the demand.

Most beaches, towns, and mountains dotting the West Coast can be reached with a quick flight from Los Angeles International Airport. For example, you can reach the Playa del Rey beaches in under 10 minutes, the city center in under 30 minutes, and palm tree-lined San Diego in under 2 hours. Also within driving distance are Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, and Las Vegas. For parking related lots, you can visit our LAX parking page.
