About Norfolk International Airport  

The airport is around seven miles northeast of Downtown Norfolk. Norfolk Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Virginia by passenger traffic. How to get to Norfolk Airport 

Driving to the airport and hiring a taxi/rideshare service are the ways to reach the airport from Downtown. There are no direct public transportation services that take you to ORF Airport. Riding on HRT Bus Route 15 takes you to the nearest bus station, nearly 1.5 miles away from the airport. Riding on Bus Route 247 takes you to Norview Avenue. However, you need to take a taxi/rideshare service to commute to ORF Airport from all these points. You can consider these options if you’re traveling alone or with minimal baggage.

Lyft and Uber are the main rideshare services that serve the airport. The rideshare fare depends on the ride type and the time of your travel.
