Key Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Campaigns:
    • Identify customer pain points and ideate innovative solutions to enhance user experiences.
    • Develop and execute user-driven campaign strategies informed by ongoing insights.
    • Monitor and analyze email performance metrics, with a focus on audience segmentation, list ingestion, and automation accuracy.
    • Implement anomaly detection procedures to maintain email deliverability and operational continuity.
  • Personalization at Scale:
    • Harness marketing automation, behavioral data, and ML-based techniques to craft highly personalized, scalable email marketing experiences.
  • Experimentation & Optimization:
    • Design and implement iterative testing plans to improve campaign effectiveness continually.
    • Analyze trends and extract actionable insights to refine strategies and share learnings organization-wide.
  • Data-Driven Growth:
    • Drive key performance metrics, including MQLs, SQOs, pipeline, and revenue.
    • Report performance metrics on a regular cadence and optimize campaigns to exceed targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across product, engineering, compliance, marketing, and partner teams to ensure alignment between email marketing and broader business goals.
    • Influence cross-functional roadmaps and strategies to integrate email marketing needs into product, marketing, and technical initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 10–15 years of expertise in email marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience designing and executing data-driven email marketing strategies at scale.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth understanding of email technology, including webhooks, APIs, and ETLs.
    • Strong ability to articulate and manage technical requirements with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
  • Analytical Acumen:
    • Advanced analytical skills to interpret data trends and derive actionable insights for continuous optimization.
    • Expertise in driving experimentation roadmaps to achieve measurable improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of the email landscape, including deliverability, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, US Privacy policies), and growth marketing concepts such as attribution and incrementality.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • A self-starter with the ability to manage both strategic initiatives and tactical workstreams with minimal oversight.
