Hagerty Launches Safe Storage Concierge in Florida Powered by Way

Traverse City, Michigan, August 26, 2025 – Hagerty, a leading insurance provider of classic and collector car protection, has introduced its Safe Storage Concierge in Florida to safeguard vehicles during hurricane season. Way, the car services platform behind the program’s technology, powers the reservations and logistics that make it simple for members to move their cars to secure, elevated storage before storms hit. The program provides five days of secure, enclosed storage above the surge line during severe weather, at no additional cost to Hagerty insured members.

Available initially in the Tampa and Miami metro areas, the service alerts members by email when severe weather is approaching. Collector vehicles can then be brought to participating garages on a first-come, first-served basis. Members may extend storage beyond five days at their own cost.

The digital experience is powered by Way’s platform, enabling easy reservations, access, and check-out.

Hagerty Safe Storage Concierge is available to Hagerty members in Florida with policies underwritten by Essentia Insurance Company. The pilot program complements existing evacuation expense coverage and does not count as a claim or affect a customer’s policy.
