Richmond Airport has a recently renovated new two-level terminal featuring upper-level departures and lower-level arrival areas. The area of ticketing and baggage claims have also increased, thereby reducing crowding at the Airport. The Baggage claim areas are located on the First level. There are six baggage claim carousels on the lower level. Ground Transportation facilities, Rental cars, and Valet Parking are also on the First level. The Ticket Counters are on the second level. The second level also has Curbside check-ins and security points. The second level also has two concourses, A and B. Concourse A is used by Allegiant, American, Breeze, and JetBlue. Concourse B is used by Delta, Southwest, Spirit, and United. Concourse A is towards the right of level 2, and Concourse B is towards the left.
There is only one terminal, so you can easily make connections on foot. The Airport is relatively easy to traverse on foot as the distance between important points is very short or negligible.
All airport-owned parking lots include accessible parking for passengers with disabilities. In addition, wheelchair-accessible shuttle buses service the long-term parking lot. There are dedicated parking spaces for disabled travelers. There are lifts on the lower level of the terminal building and the multistorey car parks.
Richmond International Airport's two pet relief areas are located in two convenient spots. Two large grassy fields can be found between the parking garage and the terminal.
Richmond Airport has TSA PreCheck. Passengers can only travel landside after security checkpoints close for the evening. Before re-entering the aircraft, passengers who spent the night in the air must return to the landside and cross security once more. The airport is accessible at any time, 24 hours. Airport visitors can take advantage of a free shuttle service that runs between terminals and the terminal parking lot. Some hotels offer complimentary shuttle services between the hotel and the airport. You may get an airport shuttle from several nearby hotels. Richmond, like other major cities, has convenient and inexpensive taxi services. Our airport's taxis are on the lower level curbside in the middle, between the North and South parking garages (following the Ground Transportation signs). Service is provided from the time of the first flight departure to the time of the last flight arrival. All taxis are metered, and reservations are not required. This option is located on the upper Departures level (Ticketing & Gates)
Find your way to the terminal curbside on the Departures level (Ticketing).

This option is located on the lower Arrival level (Baggage Claim) for travelers with checked luggage.

US Route 60 travels parallel to the airport premises from east to west. Interstate 295 runs across US Route 60 from north to south. You can get to Airport Terminal Drive from Interstate 64, which in turn connects to US Route 60 and Interstate 295.
