Terminal A, Terminal B, and Terminal C are the three main passenger terminals at Newark Liberty International Airport. You can see on the map of Newark Airport that the terminals are placed in the shape of a semi-circle. Levels 1, 2, 3, and a Gate level between Levels 2 and 3 are included in all three Terminals. The Gate level is divided into three sections, the first containing the security checkpoint.
Flights inside the United States and Canada depart from Terminal A. The terminal is divided into three concourses, A1, A2, and A3, each with its security checkpoint. So you’ll have to re-clear security if you’re connecting to an aircraft in the same terminal but on a different concourse.
Terminal B is EWR’s major international terminal, featuring three concourses. Other than international flights, low-cost flights like Spirit Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and Allegiant Air operate from this terminal. Because there aren’t many stores or eateries on the B2 concourse, travelers will have to rely on the facilities on the other two concourses. However, passengers may freely walk between the three concourses since the three security gates lead into a common concourse area.
Terminal C is exclusively for United Airlines. Just like the other terminals, Terminal C is divided into three concourses: C1, C2, and C3. Because the three security gates lead into a single concourse area, there is no need to re-clear security to enjoy the terminal’s excellent assortment of shops and eateries.
