An elevated airside walkway connects Terminal 6 to Terminal 7, while a subterranean passageway links Terminal 6 to Terminal 5. If you are already airside at these terminals, you do not need to re-clear security in order to access Terminals 8, 5, 4, or International Terminal B.
You can access any of the south terminals from Terminal 6 through the airside walkways. For Terminals 1-3, use the L1-05 door after baggage claim to reach the shuttle bus stop diagonally across the street.
Shuttle buses, walkways, and other modes of transport are all available at the terminal. If you're in a hurry, using the shuttle bus to the next terminal may not be your best bet.
The most convenient lots to park at for Terminal 6 are the P-7 Terminal parking lots. Onsite parking costs $9 for the first hour and $7 every thirty minutes after the first hour. $60 is the maximum chargeable amount for a day (every 24 hours). Several offsite LAX parking spots near the airport with free shuttle services. Some LAX parking lots have Economy parking rates. The first hour costs $8. After the first hour, you'll be charged $7 for every additional half-hour, up to a daily maximum of $35.
Airlines such as Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Boutique Air, Mokulele Airlines, Thomas Cook, and Viva Aerobus use Terminal 6.
Passengers can easily move between Terminals 6, 7, and 8 thanks to the airside connecting walkways on the same level as the terminals (International passengers arriving must clear Customs and then security on a lower level first).
